The Limestone District School Board has issued the following statement:
“On Thursday, April 17, Limestone DSB has experienced a cyber incident. Throughout the weekend and into this week we continue to work with cybersecurity experts to assess the impact of the cyber incident and to work toward the restoration of services.
Schools will remain open, and classes will continue. However, as we enter the new school week, our schools and central office will remain offline until we are able to safely restore network access. If your student(s) is going to be absent from school, or you need to contact the school, please call the school directly to report the absence by phone. Please visit limestone.on.ca/network-
For secondary students who have a board laptop at home, please bring it to school tomorrow. Additional software needs to be placed on each device this week.
We will continue to share more information with families and staff as it becomes available. Thank you for your continued patience and support, and we apologize for the inconvenience.”
