The Limestone County Sheriff said no injuries have been reported at this time.
LIMESTONE COUNTY, Texas — The cleanup process is still underway after a train derailed in Limestone County on Tuesday, Nov. 5, Limestone County Sheriff Murray Agnew told 6 News.
Agnew did not have a specific number, but said multiple train cars were derailed.
Law enforcement and emergency management were reportedly called to the scene, but there have been no reports of injuries or hazardous material spilled at this time, Agnew said.
Agnew said Union Pacific is still on the scene conducting cleanup operations.
No further information has been released at this time.
